§ 6-29. Organization; chairman; vice-chairman; secretary.

  • The authority shall elect one (1) person from its number to act as chairman, one (1) person to act as vice-chairman and one (1) person to act as secretary. The chairman and vice-chairman shall serve for a term of one (1) year, and annually thereafter, the members shall elect a chairman and vice-chairman from the membership of the authority; provided, however, that the chairman and vice-chairman can never be residents of the same state. The chairman and vice-chairman shall cast votes on all matters coming before the authority. In the absence of the chairman, the vice-chairman shall act as chairman. The person elected secretary of the authority may be elected to that office for as long as he remains on the authority. The secretary shall keep minutes of all meetings of the authority.
