§ 22-4. Collection vehicles.

Each vehicle used in the collection and removal of garbage shall be equipped so as to sufficiently retain all garbage, including wet garbage, and shall be covered so as to prevent any of the garbage from falling into streets and alleys. The failure of any person to provide garbage vehicles meeting the minimum standards, as set out in this section, shall, in addition to such other penalties as may be provided for the violation hereof, be grounds for suspension of the license issued to such collector or licensee. The city may temporarily revoke the license of any person who fails or refuses to comply with such requirements and such revocation shall be effective until the next regular meeting of the board of directors at which time the matter of such revocation shall be considered.
