§ 12-1. Taxation.

  • At the first meeting of the board of directors in September of each year, the city clerk shall call to the board's attention the fact that a one-mill library tax was voted for, passed and enacted by the qualified electors of the city at the general election in November of 1951 to the end that an ordinance might be passed and certified to the county clerk so that the one-mill tax might be levied and collected.
